#ETERNAL SONATA OST BASED ON CHOPIN PS3#
The PS3 fixes the ending by completely changing it and adding two more additional characters and more segments to increase relations within the playable characters. On the 360, the game just takes a nose dive and was simple as can be.

The voice acting is alright so far.īut while doing my research for this game (game length, difficulty, battle gameplay), I did find out that the 360 and PS3 version notably different. I find it cute that the game is trying too hard to be philosophical. So far I don't see anything bad about it.

I'm recording the game blind for my youtube channel (TBD) and I've only put in about 4 hours. The flaws of it can't nearly justify an opinion to not play it at all. If you're even a slight fan of music history, or moreso a fan of the typical JRPG with great gameplay, this game is a must-play. (The xylophone tower and the actual final dungeon. Even the environment themes were amazing, especially the underground town (Folk music ftw) and the two final dungeons. The main battle theme also never got old, and the rotation/growing intensity of boss themes made the game so much more enjoyable. The final battle theme adapted from Chopin's Revolutionary Etude was sublime, something I never would've expected in a game. Lastly, the soundtrack, holy shit the soundtrack.

The character designs were great as well, with Jazz and Claves having some of my favorite character designs of any game. You can't complain too much about incoherent story when good gameplay still makes a game playable. Hell, the battle system is super fun, too. Having that alone and a story based around him allowed me to overlook some of the game's clearly lackluster qualities. 6 "Heroique" A-Sharp Op.I have an insatiable love for music, so I was overjoyed to be able to play as Chopin in my favorite genre of gaming.
